Catonsville Historical Society

Collection of records and artifacts collected by the Catonsville Historical Society between 1974-2022. The Society disbanded in 2022 after flooding damaged their headquarters, and CCBC Special Collections & Archives became the stewards of the materials.

The newspapers in this collection include the following titles, followed by their years of publication: The Argus 1881 - 1940, The Catonsville Herald And Baltimore Countian 1929-1940, Herald Argus And Baltimore Countian 1940-1968.

Student Literary Publications

Student literary publications from Catonsville Community College, Essex Community College, Dundalk Community College, and the Community College of Baltimore County. 

The Community College of Baltimore County Special Collections includes materials from the 1800s onwards. Some items may include words, descriptions, or depictions that could be considered insensitive, outdated, and/or offensive in a modern context. They reflect the perspectives, social norms, and biases of the eras during which they were created. These materials are provided for historical and educational purposes, and do not reflect the views of the College, the CCBC Library, or Special Collections & Archives.
